Every AstroReading dossier is composed through three stages — astronomical calculation, structured astrological interpretation, and PDF design.
Planetary positions are computed with PyEphem, using VSOP87 for the planets and an ELP-2000-based lunar theory. From this calculation we derive your complete chart: all planetary positions, house cusps (Placidus system), aspects between planets, retrograde status, elements, and modalities.
Your chart is read across all planetary positions, house placements, and aspects — not only your Sun sign, which is one twelfth of the picture. The interpretive content is developed with assistance from large language model tools and curated through editorial review. The result is a dossier composed for your chart alone. No two are ever the same.
Set in Cormorant Garamond on a dark ground — ink and cream, with a restrained champagne accent. Each dossier is 15–33 pages depending on the product.
Traditional astrology readings unfold across a single conversation and rarely leave behind a structured document. A dossier works differently: it composes a written archive from your exact birth configuration — every planet, every house cusp, every aspect — that you can return to. The astronomical calculations are the same any astrologer would use; the interpretation is set down as a structured document for your chart specifically, not transcribed from a conversation.
We believe in being clear about what this is and isn't. Every methodology has boundaries — here are ours.
Astrology is a reflective framework, not a forecasting tool. We're confident in what we deliver — and equally clear about what we don't.
