We collect: your first name; email address; date, time, and place of birth; payment information (processed by our payment provider — we never see or store card details); your cookie consent decision and language preference.
Name and email — for order fulfillment, dossier delivery, and support communication (legal basis: contract performance, Art. 6(1)(b)). Birth data — for generation of your personalized astrological dossier (contract performance, Art. 6(1)(b)). Payment information — to process your payment (contract performance, Art. 6(1)(b)). Cookie and locale preference — to remember your settings (consent, Art. 6(1)(a)).
Birth data and dossier record: 24 months from purchase, then automatically deleted. Email address and order record: 7 years (Norwegian accounting law requires this retention). Cookie consent: 180 days. Locale preference: 365 days.
We share your data only with essential subprocessors: LemonSqueezy (payment processing, EU/USA, Data Processing Agreement + Standard Contractual Clauses); Vercel (hosting infrastructure, global CDN with EU data primacy, DPA in place). We do NOT share your data with advertisers, data brokers, or analytics services beyond what is technically necessary for service delivery. We may engage additional service providers for transactional email delivery. We require all such providers to comply with GDPR and to process data solely under our instructions.
Some subprocessors may process your data outside the EEA. For such transfers we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission, or transfers to countries with adequacy decisions (UK, Switzerland). Where applicable, the EU-US Data Privacy Framework also applies.
If you are in the EU/EEA or UK, you have the following rights: access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20), objection (Art. 21), and withdrawal of consent at any time. To exercise these rights, contact support@getastroreading.com. We respond within 30 days.
If you believe your rights have been violated, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet) at https://www.datatilsynet.no/en/, or with your local data protection authority in your country of residence.
Your astrological dossier is composed through a computational engine using Swiss Ephemeris astronomical data and traditional astrological methodology. This is rule-based computational composition — not machine learning. No profiling or automated decision-making with legal effects (under Art. 22 GDPR) takes place.
We use exactly two cookies. (1) preferred_locale — remembers your language choice. Lifetime: 365 days. Flags: Secure (on HTTPS), SameSite=Lax. (2) astroreading_cookie_consent — remembers your cookie consent decision. Lifetime: 180 days. Flags: Secure (on HTTPS), SameSite=Lax. We do NOT use tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies.
Our service is intended for users 18 years and older. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with data, contact support@getastroreading.com for immediate deletion.

We collect your name, email address, and birth data (date, time, and place) when you request a free Cosmic Love Blueprint. This data is processed by Anthropic (Claude API) to generate your personalized reading. Your email is added to our subscriber list managed by Resend so we can deliver the PDF and send you a short series of follow-up emails. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any email we send.
The same birth data plus your payment information is processed through our payment provider. Your reading content is generated by Anthropic and delivered via Resend.
Your data is stored on Railway servers (EU region) for as long as needed to provide our service and respond to support requests. You can request deletion of your data at any time by emailing hello@getastroreading.com.
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your data. Email hello@getastroreading.com with your request.
